Earthworks
Earthworks are the engineering works involving removal, excavation and filling of an surface soil or rock necessary for creating a sound surface for construction of any type. If earthworks are not carried out correctly a complete build can be compromised.
Piling
Piling is a process of boring or driving pile foundations into ground that is perhaps too weak to support a building. This piling transfers the loads across the ground instead or relying wholly on the structure. This creates total stability. Piling may be made up of wood, steel or concrete.
Foundations
Foundations are the lowest part or a building or piece of construction, they provide support for any structure or surface making an even weight bearing capacity to ensure a structure does not move or drop in any area. The depth of foundations will vary according to how high or big the structure is. Construction of foundations can include concrete, steel, stones and bricks. It will depend on the soil and the structure as to what is necessary.
Masonry works
Masonry work is the construction process that uses bricks, stones and concrete. It may be either weight bearing or not. It can mean building walls, tunnels or attaching cladding. We at Ashley Paving have skilled masons able to undertake all forms on masonry work as required.
Flooring
Ashley Paving are able lay and supply all types of stone floor. The materials we specialise in are concrete, stone and tile. As specialist in our field we are able to lay a long lasting floor surface to any domestic or commercial property.
